Reporting a bug
It helps a lot if you include:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version
- What you were doing when the problem happened
- A screenshot or screen recording, if you can
Is Vinta free?
Vinta is free to download, and everything in the app is free: every camera, filter and effect, with no watermark and no ads.
Why does Vinta need camera and photo access?
The camera permission is required to shoot photos and videos. Photo-library access lets you import pictures from your camera roll to develop them with Vinta's film stocks, and to save your results. Your photos never leave your device.
How do I develop an old photo?
Open the gallery button on the camera screen, pick any photo from your camera roll, choose a film stock (such as 135 SR) and tap Develop & Save.
Where are my shots saved?
Developed photos and videos are saved to your iPhone photo library in full quality, with no watermark.
How do I shoot retro video?
Switch the PHOTO / VIDEO toggle in Retro Cam, pick a camcorder (such as V CLASSIC) and press record. Scan lines, tape texture and timestamps are applied in real time.
Privacy
Your photos and videos never leave your device. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, with no photos, names or contact details. Full details are in the privacy policy.
